Standard city hotel, there was nothing that was outstanding in its appearance.
Zaragoza is a very small city, and everything is within walking distance from anywhere. The location of this hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the train station and a 15 minute walk from the main attraction in Zaragoza the ‘Basilica of our lady Pillar’. Around the Hotel there is lots of affordable restaurants and shops around and the supermarket which I found very useful was just next door.
Standard in cleanliness.
Facilities & Amenities 6/10
To be honest I didn’t really fixate on the facilities and amenities at my stay. All I can gather is that it includes all the usual aspects that any city hotel has. Wifi is free, and there is a full bar/ restaurant downstairs at the lobby.
Only thing that bothered me is the TV didn’t have cable, meaning there was no English channels for me in the nights.
This hotel was very cheap for me costing me just £50 for 2 nights, maybe because it wasn’t peak time and Zaragoza isn’t a prime place. The price for this hotel was very good and I believe the price I paid was a real bargain.
Staff at the hotel were as you would expect them to be, the check in staff spoke good English and was very knowledgeable about the area. Cleaning staff didn’t speak English and needed reception as a translator, not a bad thing just a bit difficult.
NH Centro (Hispanola) is a nice hotel which is very convenient. It is situated at a nice area and is cheap for the standard it sets, modern hotel however appliances may need updating.
